The Christmas Gift Guide for the Animal Lover, Pet Lover, & Floral Lover

This gift guide exists because we find joy in gifting people we cherish with the things that they love.
My personal favorite gifts weren’t just things, but were keepsakes tied to specific memories.
If you don’t know what to gift a family member or friend, start by thinking about what would bring them joy, the memories that you share, & then go from there.
Here’s what I would gift, organized by personalities, interests, & of course, beloved memories.

FOR THE ONE WITH ALL THE PETS
There are some people who simply like pets, & then there are those who would do anything for their furry, four-legged residents. These keepsake-worthy wall prints & cards are for both the dog person as well as the cat person—because all paws should be on deck when it comes to presents.
FOR THE ONE WHO LOVES FLOWERS
Whether they love gardening or take delight in the occasional city market bouquet, these are the gifts to give to the one who basks in the beauty of nature’s petaled jewelry.
FOR THE ONE WHO ADORES ANIMALS
The person who adores animals is similar to the one who has all the pets, but specific animals are linked to specific memories. This week, I found out that one of my neighbors & her family are “obsessed” with alpacas. We discussed which local alpaca farm was my favorite. It turns out, I have an alpaca wall print (& many other watercolor animals) too:
{BONUS SECTION} FOR THE ONE WHO IS MISSING SOMEONE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
Christmas is considered the most “wonderful time of the year,” but it can also be an incredibly difficult time of the year. Holidays aren’t like any other day, & they can feel like reminders of what is lost or what was.
Holidays are reminders of harsh realities: a strained relationship, an empty seat at a table, the absence of someone—whether that absence be emotional or physical.
Perhaps you know of someone who is hurting this holiday season.
My family & I have been there, too.
What if you were able to bring a little light into their Christmas? A card is a beautiful way to remind them that you’re thinking of them.
Additionally, my mom’s award-winning bestseller, The Good Mom Trap, helps the Christian woman who has experienced loss, and the woman feeling pressure to have it “all together” (especially during the holidays). Gifting a copy of The Good Mom Trap is an invitation to accept God’s grace & the beauty of biblical release. Reading The Good Mom Trap is like relaxing your shoulders after a tense day.
As an artist and creative, I value the beauty of hand-chosen gifts that reach the heart of the special people in my life. I also enjoy knowing that someone chose a gift that makes me smile, laugh, or remember a moment we shared. I think you probably do, too.
After all, the most meaningful gifts don't need to be the most elaborate or expensive. But they do remind the recipient of how deeply they're loved and how much they matter, even when the reminder comes in simple ways.
